- The Assessment survey will be conducted for classes III, V & VIII. All Government schools in the state will be covered in this survey.
- All students studying classes III, V and VIII will write the test. The test schedule is as follows:

Class III
- The test is consisting of 2 parts i.e. written and oral.
- Written test is for 40 marks and oral test is for 10 marks,
- Oral testing will be in Telugu and English ( 5 m + 5 m)only.
- Oral marks have to be recorded in report sheet and after valuation of main
- answer sheet oral marks need to be entered in the main sheet.
- There are 37 questions in the written test covering these subjects i.e Telugu,
- English and Mathematics.
- Questions from 6 to 17 are relating to Telugu
- Questions from 23 to 29 are relating to English
- Questions from 30-37 are relating to Mathematics.
- Questions from 6-9 are multiple choice questions. The student has to write
- correct answer number in the given brackets.
- Questions from 10-11 student have to be read and write correctly in the given
- blank.
- Question number 12 has to be answered in sentences.
- Question number 13 is related to conversation, an example has been give.
The student has to write continuation of the conversation. - Question number 14 is related to vocabulary. An example is given and student
has to write some other words related to it. - Question number 15, is related to usage and the student has to write sentence
by using the words given. - Question number 16, a sentence is given and the student has to write the part of
speech given speech. - Question number 17, an in complete sentence is given and the student has to
complete the sentence as desired.
- Questions from 23 – 25 are related to reading comprehension and the student
has to read the given sentences and answer the question in the given space. - Question number 26 is related to conventions of writing and the student has to
select correct word and write in the given blank. - Question number 27 is related to vocabulary. One example is provided and the
student has to answer accordingly. - Questions from 28-29 are related to grammatical awareness, the student has to
read options given in the brackets and mention the correct answer in the blank. - Questions 30 -32 are related to creative expression. Student has to look at the
picture and write a sentence in the given space.
- Questions 33-47 are related to Mathematics. All the questions are objective in
nature. Students have to solve the problems and write the answers in the given
space.
- The evaluators have to conduct oral examination to each student. For oral test
the evaluator has to use the oral examination test paper. In the oral examination test
paper no. of questions are provided. If they give the correct answer award one mark.
